What is BON?
It is a major Japanese Buddhist custom and family holiday held to remember and honor the spirits of one's ancestors. It is traditionally celebrated from August 13 to 16 in most of Japan. We believe that their spirits are returning to visit during this period of time, and we welcome them with family gatherings, gravestone visits, foods, traditional dances, etc.
Baking Barefoot LLC will be there with our authentic Japanese bread/sweets. Dorayaki and Anpan are our traditional Japanese sweets often used as offerings for our ancestors. Come see us to taste and experience the culture we value!

We will be at BonFest Pensacola this Saturday 12:00-4:00 pm.
Free admission, so just come out to see what this festival is all about🇯🇵 We are excited to be a part of the cultural event with traditional entertainment and, of course, Japanese food!!

Thank you Niceville! I had a great time meeting so many people at Mystical Market Friday night🥰 This was my very first Niceville market and I truly appreciate the warm welcome. Special thanks to Sew Funkyflorida for organizing this wonderful market! It’s hosting another event in October at Niceville Community Center and more coming.

Limbo Contest at Noon

The ice cream truck arrives at 10 AM! To receive free ice cream, children must first pick up a ticket at the Information Table. Tickets are limited to the first 50 kids, so come early!
