We are a Coffee House, bakery and cafe, located at 150 South Main Street, Newtown, CT about 2.4 miles South of the Flag Pole. We are open 7 days a week. ause the details make the difference, our all natural meats are roasted and sliced right here in our own kitchen. You can live a healthier life without the sodium, nitrites and preservatives found in “deli” meat. We also make the spreads that dress our sandwiches, and of course we make our baked goods in house. So you can feel good about what you eat.

It is with a heavy heart that we have made the final decision to close Café Xpresso permanently. We have had the privilege of serving Newtown and the surrounding areas for 5 great years and have enjoyed meeting and becoming friends with many, many wonderful people. With all that is happening in the world and the economy we decided that trying to reopen after the pandemic would not be feasible for us.

For some this may come as a surprise, for others it might be old news, as we were in the process of selling the café just before the pandemic hit and that is difficult news to keep quiet. Either way, we need to take this time to give everyone involved with Café Xpresso an excessively big thanks for a fun and fortunate 5 years of serving you all.

We want to thank the many loyal customers, friends, vendors, and neighbors for the 5 years of trusting us to feed you food and beverages that you loved and returned for week after week after week. And an extra special thanks to our fabulous employees who stuck with us through thick and thin for so many years. We were blessed to have such dedicated people with us.
