This week we celebrate Shrimp Sandwich Day in Kaffestugan. We celebrate with our delicious shrimp sandwiches as well as a shrimp salad sandwich.
We also have Finnish goodies this week. Korvapuusti, Butter eye buns, Nisu and Karelian pasties with egg butter.

Berserk has been postponed. The new date will be 10/10. That means that we at Kaffestugan will have a regular day this Saturday and will be open 10 am-2 pm. We’ll be doing Swedish buns and Danish pastries!

IMPORTANT UPDATE: BERSERK HAS BEEN POSTPONED!
It seems that Thor has meddled with our plans of hosting Berserk this Saturday by sending a Nor'easter our way! While Vikings can stand a little rain, our tents can't stand stormy winds, and nobody wants a soggy Icelandic hot dog. To make sure the day is full of the epic fun we have planned, we will now be hosting Berserk on October 10th.

In just one short week we're back and what a fun fall we have planned.
We'll start 9/12 with delicious Swedish buns from our friends at Hulda's Swedish Baked Goods
Nordic Hall is hosting the Nordic Knit and Craft gathering at 10 am and showing the movie The summer book at 1 pm.

Welcome in tomorrow for our last regular day of the season. Following traditions we’re selling our frozen braids and breads 50% off. We have a limited number of Nisu, Swedish Cardamom braids, Karelian pasties and rye bread.
The specials tomorrow are rhubarb cake, chocolate sticky cake and cardamom braid topped with lemon curd, whipped cream and fresh berries.
