🌀💙🧡 The perfect Portal bite!

And to finish off this Portal × The Polar Express birthday celebration, we needed one more little Portal-inspired treat!

These macarons were made with one orange shell and one blue shell, sandwiched together with rich chocolate ganache. 💙🧡🍫

Just like choosing between the two portals, you don't have to pick a favorite — you get both in one bite! 😉

Crisp on the outside, chewy in the middle, creamy chocolate ganache in between… the perfect bite.

A pretty delicious way to wrap up this one-of-a-kind Portal birthday! 🌀

🌀🚂 You can’t have a Portal × The Polar Express party without a cake!

This one definitely came with a challenge of its own — that homemade edible “slime”! 🧪💚

For the Portal side of this crossover, we wanted to bring in that colorful, gooey test-chamber feel from the game. While green isn't one of Portal's specific named gels, it gave us exactly the fun, science-experiment look we were going for!

And then, of course, we had to combine all of that with The Polar Express — because apparently we're just casually combining two completely different worlds into one cake. 😂🚂🌀

From the train details to the Portal-inspired elements (and figuring out how to make edible slime actually work!), this was definitely one of those cakes that kept me on my toes.

I love when a customer gives me a challenge that makes me think outside the box — and this one was definitely a brain-bender!

The cake may not be a lie… but that slime was 100% edible. 😉💚

🌀🚂 Portal × The Polar Express Cookies

When AI inspiration meets cookie reality!

This set was a first for me — and definitely one that bent my brain a little! 😂

The request? A Portal × The Polar Express crossover — two completely different worlds that somehow had to come together in one cookie set. 🚂🌀
The mom and I worked closely together to take the AI-generated inspiration and figure out how to actually translate those ideas into edible art. Some details changed along the way, some had to be reimagined, and a LOT of tiny cookie-decorating decisions went into bringing the vision to life.
So… how did I do?! 👀

🌀 Portal Cupcakes

Two dozen cupcakes, two flavors, and two iconic portal colors! 💙🧡

One dozen strawberry cupcakes filled with strawberry and topped with blue frosting, paired with one dozen lemon cupcakes filled with lemon and topped with bright orange frosting — a sweet nod to the iconic blue and orange portals from Portal! 🌀

Aperture Science may have been busy testing portals, but we were busy testing the limits of delicious. 😉

The cake is a lie… but these cupcakes definitely aren't. 🍓🍋💙🧡

Into the wild we go! 🐘🌿🦓🐆

This safari-themed birthday celebration was full of wild details! A showstopping cake featuring a parade of adorable elephants around the sides, bold tropical leaves, and a big leopard-print “3” taking center stage. 🐘🍃🐆

Matching cupcakes brought even more safari flair with monstera leaves, leopard print, and zebra print details. 🌿🦓
