A long ago promised cake for dear friends/family that went to a love-filled wedding this past week. It's been a minute since I made one and it definitely was NOT like riding a bike. Ha! There was a bit of a relearning curve, for sure.

I just want y'all to know that I check in on this page now and again and it makes my heart so full. I am so grateful for all of the kind words and precious memories of these days. Thank you a million times over. 🩷

Two dozen of these individually boxed Mumbo Jumbo cupcakes just delivered to the bake sale at the corner of 14th and Arendell in Morehead City to benefit Carteret Community Theatre.

Dark chocolate cupcake with caramel buttercream frosting, mini chocolate chip rim, chocolate ganache drizzle. My personal fave!

My grandmother, Irene, of Irene Cake fame with it's milk chocolately frosting and ring of pecans, passed away peacefully on Monday.

I wanted you all to know how it delighted her soul when you ordered and enjoyed her namesake dessert.

It tickled her the best.
