My name is Rachel. I’m the face, the hands, and the heart behind this micro-home bakery. If you’ve ever wondered who runs the show around here, the answer is simple: I do. From dreaming up seasonal menus and filming late-night social media videos to balancing the books, baking the sweet treats, packing the boxes, and keeping our roadside stand stocked—I wear every single hat. My husband is a big help too 💜

But this business didn’t start with a perfect business plan; it started with a leap of faith.

A vision last summer propelled me to where I am today. I wanted freedom from my corporate job and running the rat race. I asked God for an idea on what to do! His answer ? Use what I gave you. What is that you may ask ? My hands. Creativity. And a willingness to learn. What people don’t know is I’m a self taught baker!

Not too long ago, I was working a traditional full-time job. It was secure, but I knew deep down there was a different path meant for me. God called me to step away from the comfort of that career and build something from the ground up. Trusting His timing, building behind the scenes for over a year I left my job at the end of August of this year to officially launch this passion for baking into a ministry of feeding and connecting with my community.

When I’m not covered in flour or managing the business, I am loving on my beautiful family. Being a wife and mother is my first and most important calling, and they are the ultimate inspiration behind every recipe I create. Thank you for supporting my small business and being a part of this beautiful, faith-led journey!

Cinnamon Roll Flavors this weekend at the Self Serve Roadside Bakery. I’ll be making more of these as we sold out extremely early last weekend. These jumbo Cinnamon Rolls packed and dripping with icing went off the shelf super fast along with the homemade Glazed Donuts.

We were in week 2 of opening and by 11:30am on Saturday 10-12 we were sold out! It was such a blessing and also a learning curve. I’ll be busy baking this week and offering more sweet treats BUT in the meantime this is some of the goodies we served up!
