Congratulations to Cole Hayes!
Newnan American Legion Post 57 proudly congratulates Cole Hayes on his outstanding achievement in the American Legion Oratorical Scholarship Contest.

Cole has earned first place at the Post 57, District 5, and Area 4 levels, demonstrating exceptional speaking skills, dedication, and knowledge of the U.S. Constitution.

He will next compete at the Department of Georgia Oratorical Contest:

We are proud to announce that Cole will graduate from Northgate High School this year and has been accepted to Dartmouth University. We are incredibly proud of his hard work and excited for what’s ahead.

This is a reminder that American Legion Post 57’s March meeting will be held on March 5, 2026, at 6:30 p.m.
The meeting will begin with a brief Legion Family Meeting, including reports from the American Legion Auxiliary, Sons of the American Legion, and Legion Riders. The regular Post 57 meeting will follow immediately, with reports from officers and committee chairs, as well as discussion of upcoming events.
Your attendance and participation are strongly encouraged. Member participation and feedback are critical to sustaining an active and successful post. We encourage you to share your suggestions for enhancing engagement and recruiting additional members. While we recognize that other commitments may prevent attendance at every meeting, contributing in alternative ways to support the advancement of our post would be greatly appreciated.
