We are so grateful to be part of the NH Recovery Friendly Workplace and House of Worship initiative through the NH Governor's office. This past week, our Recovery Friendly Advisor Sam Tarplin joined in our Sunday service, shared his experiences with recovery and addiction and then led over 40 of us in Narcan training. It was so very informative and important!
Overdose rates are rising in NH, and Narcan can truly save a life!

KIDS CLUB EVERY SUNDAY AT NCC!

This week the kids will work together on a special group handprint art project. Using non-toxic, washable paint, each child will contribute their handprints to create a collaborative masterpiece that celebrates friendship, community, and God’s love.

As we create, we will continue learning The Lord’s Prayer, helping the kids understand the meaning behind each line.

Important: Please have your child wear clothes that can get messy. While the paint is washable, creativity sometimes has a way of spreading beyond the canvas onto clothes. 💜

In a world that can feel divided, prayer invites us to slow down, listen deeply, and remember our shared humanity.

This prayer from Pastor Patty is a reminder that compassion begins with openness: being willing to learn from one another, to honor experiences different from our own, and to choose kindness in both word and action.

May we be people who help others feel seen, heard, and loved. 🧡

Join Us This Sunday at 10 AM as we continue our series on the Lord’s Prayer, focusing on the line: Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Together, we will reflect on themes of protection, courage, healing, and the ways God walks with us through the struggles and brokenness of life.

See you online or in the sanctuary!

Every person carries something sacred within them. The way we speak to one another, care for one another, and move through the world matters deeply.

This reflection from Pastor Patty reminds us that kindness is more than politeness. It is recognizing the dignity, worth, and humanity in every person we encounter. May we continue growing into a community rooted in compassion, grace, and reverence for one another.

And perhaps it prompts us to ask ourselves, "who might God be inviting us to see differently today?"
