After a lot of thought and soul searching, the owners of figtree kitchen bakery, Mike and Brian have decided it is time to slow down a bit.

With our current lease at 3 Liberty St in Newburyport, coming to an end, we have decided to close the store at the end of April. But we aren’t leaving Newburyport! We are excited to announce a collaboration with Chococoa Baking Company & Café at 50 Water St in the Tannery. Chococoa will be carrying many of your favorite figtree kitchen baked goods.

We will miss all of our loyal customers who supported us in the early years at the Newburyport Farmers’ Market and for the last 6 years at 3 Liberty St. We also extend thanks to our hardworking, dedicated staff, we couldn’t have done it without them! We have loved being a part of the Newburyport community, and hope that you will continue to enjoy our products through Chococoa Baking Company & Cafe.
