ALL GOOD THINGS MUST COME TO AN END.

As I enter my 4th year in business, I must break the bittersweet news that this will be the final year for The Local Spread. 
 
This labor of love would not have been such a success without my local partners and I wouldn't have had so much fun without all of you, so a huge thank you to the support you have shown me!
 
When I started building this fun little business back in 2019, during a crazy pandemic, never in my wildest dreams did I think picnics would boom into what they have become. My first year was extremely successful and it was amazing to see familiar faces return year after year. Come year two, the competition started to roll in and the pandemic started to calm down, so as we have all seen businesses everywhere began to see a shift. I am very sad to be ending this journey here, but I am extremely proud of myself for stepping outside of my comfort zone and going all in on my first small business! This has been a journey that I will always look back on with huge smiles and pride thinking about the joy I brought to locals and visitors alike in Newburyport! It has been amazing to be a part of such a supportive community and The Local Spread will forever hold a special place in my heart, as I hope it does in yours too!
