We will be closing Valerie’s Oven for the foreseeable future. Although I will not be able to supply bread to my many wonderful customers, I will still be working to perfect my breadmaking art in my spare time, and sharing on the page to inspire you all. I hope to someday be able to resume taking bread orders, but for now, will be focusing my energy elsewhere. Thank you for your continued support of my small business!

Hello friends,
Time certainly has a way of flying by when you are enjoying life! I just wanted to say thank you for the your patience! I will be back to baking very soon, but not as soon as I had originally anticipated. I'm slowly easing into a small baking routine with my new little and my firstborn. Still working out a few kinks but I hope that by the end of this month/beginning of October I can start taking orders 🙂
Until then, here is a little something to feast upon, with your eyes at least!

With the high temps this week, we have decided to close down the oven! 🌞 If the weather is favorable, and our new baby hasn't made his grand arrival yet, I will consider having one or two bake days the following week (week of June 29th-July 3rd). If i don't make an announcement feel free to reach out!

Starting July 6th we will be closed for the rest of July and August to enjoy our new little one and to establish a good routine before Fall🍂
If everything goes smoothly we will be back to a five day bake schedule by September with lots of new goodies and breads available!

Farm fresh eggs! 🐔🥚
Who doesn't like a farm fresh fried egg on some homemade bread!?!
We have 14 beautiful ladies that provide more than enough eggs for us every week! These beauties were laid between 6/6 and 6/9 (today)
$3/dozen. Let me know if you would like to add a dozen, or two, to your bread order 😊

Here is this week's schedule!
I am SUPER EXCITED to announce a NEW Special to the menu!!!
Ezekiel bread! Ezekiel bread is made from a variety of whole grains and legumes that are freshly milled right here in my kitchen! This bread is packed full of nutrients and fiber! Using a mixture of beans and grains makes this bread a complete protein. It also has a lower glycemic index for anyone trying to maintain sugar levels during the day. But of course, most importantly, this bread isn't just super healthy, it is SUPER TASTY!
Be sure to put your order in at least 24 hrs ahead 😊 Thank you!

Just a little heads up for the coming weeks 🙂 As my due date comes closer I will be slowing down a bit and cutting back on "bake days". I'll be taking some time off after our new little guy arrives 💙 but will try my best to keep you updated, if for some reason we end up going to deliver sooner than my due date (July 9th)! Here's our whole wheat loaf! We use our very own Chamberlain Hill Maples syrup in this bread instead of using cane sugar! We also freshly mill the wheat berries for every loaf!
