This one is a piece from my heart, back in February (the day before my little sister’s wedding) my first niece turned 18! 🥹

I remember thinking it would be insane trying to bring a custom cake down to Baltimore along with a 6 tier wedding cake hundreds, of cookies, hundreds of macarons, all the wedding dessert displays and three little ones but how could we not?!

I never had the opportunity to play the game that the cake is based off of (Lisa the painful) but Sage lit up so much talking about it that I had to bring something special to life.

I wanted to represent her softness and beauty along with the quirky and fun aspects of the game (along with the gorgeous color palette) , tying in the 2D sort of look with the base along with some delicate piping.

Any other off the path games I should recreate in cake form?

Better late than never guys! For all those didn’t peep our stories I got together some of the behind the scenes from my lil sisters wedding 😍 plus some fun extras 🥰

A tiny piece of our lives 😊 mostly will put down the kiddos for me at the end of the day so I can have my mommy time and decorate in a blissful creative dream, often times my soundtrack is a an audio book interrupted by sibling rivalry, cookie munching in my ear like right now 👀 or kids tv shows paired with shrieks of joy 🤣

Months of sketches, ordering the best props from the UK .options , styro from , .ice fondant , wafer paper, sugar flower making, isomalt flowers, dessert prep like cookie doughs, making macaron shells, tastings, travel & the kiddos all for one glorious night 🤩

🥹I’ll definitely have to put some how to’s up later because there where many helpful tips & tricks I’d love to share but it’s too much for one reel 😅

I didn’t dance with my Dad at our wedding since we didn’t have a traditional reception, lil sis being a real one we surprised Dad with having him dance with me after the initial daddy Daughter dance 🥹 real tears guys real tears. It’s his birthday week this week so please send him all the love 💞

Shoutout to the flower girl for also helping me with the sugar flowers and lace detail, Aurora is in fact the best helper ever🥹💕

Here’s to me actually posting when I initially plan to! 🥂 been working on so many exciting projects so put those notifications on till my posting is more predictable 😅

My little sister got married y’all! 🥹

If you’ve been keeping up with our stories you may have seen parts of the cakes and desserts coming together piece by intentional piece.

When my sister and her then fiancé chose us to do her cake I was and still am honored 🙏🏽 once we got the color scheme the vision for the cake started building itself immediately.

Black, White, Gray, and Deep Teal (with touches of gold)

I wanted to repressed her strength and resilience, so I chose slate to impress the tiers of the cake. She is soft and deeply caring (also loves them) so crystal cherry blossoms spot the drapery , she is unique (and also loves them ) so the orchids were the main flower. Straying from the traditional all white we chose a delicate gradient of grays, swooping the entire cake with edible teal fabric. The black and gold coming in fine detail for a bit of elegance ✨

It’s my little sister so you know we had to show out! I love the work of and was so exited to have a project that required their expertise! We used two crystal tiers, choosing cakes that fit right inside of them for a double wall effect, their incredible floating stand, and their gorgeous gilded cake stand 🤩

Always dependable for the fondant and gumpaste

Our Most Beautiful Creations

No they are not cake 😂 more cake post to come soon I promise, but our little ones inspire me. They drive me to do better, to find that time to work on my passions and create amidst all the pulls of parenting nd find way to do what I love and include them in it 🥹

Point in post ☝🏽 (case) we where in invited to be a part of ‘s Building Fashion to Build Community event and I was so excited to create a showpiece for the event and I’m always looking for opportunities to expose the kids to art and get this…

The kids wind up modeling at their first EVER fashion show! 🙈🥰🙏🏽 leave it to the Aleyakpo kids (aka the Golden Children, aaka the A Team, AAAka the Super Hero Family Team) to fall in love with the photographer and have a mini shoot right at the show!

thank you for making my mom dreams come true and for your overwhelming patience with little ones with so much excitement and wonder! Jesse was enthralled.

Shout out again to for always bringing the community together. It was an amazing event with so many talented models, dancers, and local companies!

Valentines Banquet 2026! 🥀

So happy to be able to be a small part of this event again for

It's a lovely, affordable event filled with jokes, prizes, live music and inspiring speakers hosted by my adorable parents.
The youth who attend the church are the servers and collect tips to fund their missions trips serving people around the world! 💞

I've been workshopping a few ways to properly serve the couples their desserts over the years (while also making efforts to attend the event with my husband) I am so happy to have found a simplistic system.
Working with a voulenteer staff who may have started serving for the first time that night is an exciting challenge and a wonderful opportunity to learn and to teach.

This cake was a love letter…
But not in the way you think.

Fellow artist Ana Allston (who makes beautiful Diaper cakes) worked with me to design this beautiful and elaborate cake for her sister, and honoring their Mother who passed on.

Each photo, sculpture, image and detail was carefully crafted to reflect the memories and treasures of her sister, celebrating her much anticipated birthday💕

In our stories we had a few guesses to the flavors of our top two tiers, which is our Brown Sugar Vanilla Bean Cake with our Simmered Strawberry Filling and Banana Ganache
