I’m a baker and a writer. My husband and I converted an 1974 Airstream Argosy into a coffee/espresso/bakery/ice cream shop. Come check it out!

We also offer a variety of gift items, many created by local artisans, and have a sausage cart on site as well.

So nice to see these friends of my brother Matthews's from his college days at Ferris State. We all miss him a lot!

Stop by and see us! We have all sorts of fresh baked goods, and today's lunch special is a Polish sausage with sauerkraut and either root b**r float or a piece of pecan pie for $16. Yum!

It is a beautiful Thursday and we will be here until 7 PM and then until 8 PM for ice cream.

This guy. Scout. Nabbing a molasses cookie from his mom's stash and gobbling it down, giving everyone a scare in the bargain. (Nutmeg and espresso are not good for puppies!) But his mom reports he seems to be fine. And he seems to know he's been naughty, but thinks it was worth it.

Mini evening field trip for dinner at the falls. Beautiful, and yum!

Here at The Uglyfish, blueberry muffins and banana chocolate chip muffins just came out of the oven. Banana nut bread and donuts will be out in a minute. And we have all kinds of other things ready for you as well. Weather permitting, the sausage cart will be running around lunchtime, and as always, we've got all kinds of beverages, ice cream, gifts, and so much more. 😊

It was incredibly special to have our friends Ted and Kathy here from Oconto, WI on Wednesday. Yay, for the good old days serving them in the diner in Grand Marais, laughing a lot, and being the recipients of beautiful flowers from their greenhouse. And yay for the good new days of hosting them here. We love you guys!
