It’s been quite a long time since we posted last, and a lot has happened between then and now!

We’d like you to welcome our newest Sous Chef at The Breaking Bread Baker sweet little Rjman 🥰

It’s been one heck of a journey, but here we are 4.5months into parenthood and loving it!

Chef Savvy is excited to dip her feet back into the kitchen and collaborate with some exciting ministries downtown Newaygo!

Christmas Cookie Fundraiser!

Bob and I are sooo close to finalizing our home-study which mean our final payment for this is due upon completion and we need your help to get there!

Now until the end of the month I’ll be baking and selling DIY cookie kits for $25 each we are only 60 kits away from raising the remaining funds needed for the homestudy portion of our adoption process!

Please prayerfully consider linking arms with us to raise this final payment of the homestudy! 🥳

Taught our first in-person sourdough 101 class at the Newaygo Area District Library yesterday, and it was a smashing success!!

Each student tried various sourdough baked goods and followed along step by step preparing their very own loaf to take home and bake for their family (mine is in the comments below).

Oh and did I mention they each brought home some starter too, to be able to help them kick start and continue their sourdough journey?!?

Cannot wait to share more with y’all about the things that are on the horizon for The Breaking Bread Baker!

We may have been quiet for a bit, but I promise we are coming in hot with some excitement for the holiday season! 😘👩‍🍳 🎄

Alright Friends!

I am in the process of baking for a charity fundraiser that I’m donating items too tomorrow, and my recipes make more than what I need for that event!

I will have the following sourdough items available for Thursday afternoon or Friday pick up.

1 Italian Sandwich Loaf
1 Traditional Artisan Loaf
and 3-4 Baguettes

First come first serve, all profits are going toward are adoption so a minimum donation of $10 is suggest per loaf.
