Hey, all! If you missed the market this morning, there’s still time to grab some baked goods here in the little red shed! We have the widest variety of frosted & unfrosted pietarts we’ve had all season, plus 1/2 lb cookies in chocolate chip, salted caramel, and walnut! Kaiser rolls for dinner tonight, Danishes & Danish anise bread for snacks (or breakfast! Along with cinnamon rolls!)

We’re open until 8pm tonight, here at 1991 Arcadia Zurich Norris road in Newark!

Happy Saturday, everyone! There’s a bit of a nip in the air, but the sunshine feels sooo good! We’re here at the Lyons Farmers' Market for our Farm-to-Table weekend, so come down and see if you can’t score some free samples from up and down the street!

This weekend’s offerings include

Happy morning, everyone! I hope you’re entering today with a good rest, and if not, a hopeful outlook. The sun is rising. The light always comes, and the darkness has no choice but to flee.

There are also things like warm drinks, cozy socks, and hoodies, and that helps too. ☕️🧦

The little red shed is open with a selection of yums ready to warm up in the oven/toaster/toaster-oven (so many options!😄) I’m particularly excited about the Danishes, but there’s also Kaiser rolls ready for egg sandwiches or burgers, Boston brown bread perfect for frying in butter and smearing with soft cheese, molasses cookies that’re just COZY, and strawberry crackle macarons or matcha latte pietarts for something a bit different.

We’re open 5am–7pm here at 1991 Arcadia Zurich Norris road in Newark!

I’ve gotta stop doing morning photos —the sun isn’t even thinking of rising at this time of day anymore 😂 (makes me wonder why I need to. . .?) But whether it’s a sleepy Thursday morning for you or you’re up and going (bless you), the little red shed is open and stocked! We’ve got homemade
• Kaiser Rolls
• Pietarts
• molasses cookies
• Boston brown bread . . all for $3 each, plus
• Danishes (either raspberry or cheese, come in a 2pk)
• Strawberry Crackle Macarons . . for $5
And the 1/2 lb salted caramel chocolate chip cookies for $6, stuffed with our wizard’s homemade butter caramel 😆

Y’all, the market might be done for today, but there are still plenty of fun and neat things going on in Lyons all day, so definitely go check it out! If bales are what you’re after, you can swing by the little red shed (about 5mins west of there) and grab some! We’ve got rhubarb, blueberry, and Rhusberry (rhubarb+raspberry) pietarts, walnut chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin cookies, berry cream tarts in the cooler, & old-style Chelsea buns (which are like a spice roll scented with nutmeg and coriander 🤤)

Happy Saturday, folks! We’re here at the Lyons Farmers' Market, and we’re ready to celebrate today’s festivities with the Civil War monument dedication! The pietart basket is overflowing 😂, and to fill in the cracks we have berry cream tarts, honey tarts Chinese marble cookies (an almond cookie with Cho swirls!), Old-Style Chelsea Buns, and coconut bread.

The market’s open 8am–12, but event activities go on all day!

It’s hard to say which kind of morning I like best, the rainy ones or sunshiny ones—because both are a beautiful thing in their own right. Today we have a lovely sunshiny morning, and the oven is hot as this wizard prepares for market, but the little red shed has some offerings to tide y’all over until then! Pop these in the warmer while you make a pot of coffee (or tea😉), and you’re all set for a lovely start. We have a few pietarts left, mini tarts, coconut bread, Boston brown bread, and Cheerio Crispies. . . All of which are sounding really good right about now🤤😂

Gooood morning!☀️ It’s a beautiful start to the day here, with a big of fog hovering over the corn before the sun peeks above the trees to dispel it. It’s a lovely opportunity to take it slow, have a cup of something warm, and nibble on a yummy thing (except this wizard’s got a lot to do today😅) Nevertheless! The little red shed is now stocked with yummy things upon which to nibble.
