Kielbs Quality Bakery & Sweet Shoppe This page has been set up to search for and find employees and customers of Kielb's Quality Bakery & The luncheonette was eliminated as was the fountain.

The Bakery encompassed the front cake, bread and small sweet shoppe area and then towards the middle of the premise included a fountain and then opened up into a luncheonette type area. In 1973, the bakery was purchased by Karl Meyer and renovations and changes were made. And yet later, date unknown, the bakery was closed and the building stood empty for some time before being renovated yet again.

For a time more recent, it housed welfare recipients upstairs and to the rear of the premise with a pizza chain (Little Ceasars as depicted in the profile pic.), in the original bakery position. More recent, it was slated for redevelopement. At last pass through, 2025, the pizza place had reopened. Home Liquors is still there. (Next door)

By chance I did a quick google search and found out that Puff N Peace took over the premise from Little Ceasars. The Little Ceasar signage is still there. Little Marie's set back house and lot all gone where Branch Brook Pharmacy stands today. Gosh, I miss the old place and look.
