Countdown to Janie’s 2.0 ✨

When I’m stuck in my lower Janie self, this can feel like such a hard, lonely, scary path. But when I’m in my higher self, it’s all magic and connection and hope and joy.

My current mantra is reminding myself that taking the next huge step is always scary — and I’ve been here three times before. Growth always asks something of you. And honestly? I wouldn’t have it any other way. ❤️

Some things that help me when I’m stuck in that place of fear:

💞 reminding myself that I’m building something for me and my future
❤️ taking time to connect with a team member, customer, or neighbor (this never fails)
💙 looking around at what we’ve built as a team, and the joy we bring people
💗 giving myself permission to rest or take a moment away from something instead of forcing clarity which often leads to the wrong choice or burnout
🥰 reading your beautiful messages of encouragement and excitement

I said what I said! 🍌💞Two new cookies entered the chat this week:

Banoffee — a chewy banana cookie base studded with our house-made toffee and crunchy banana chips, finished with a cinnamon glaze.

Caramelized White Chocolate Raspberry — our classic chewy oatmeal cookie base loaded with caramelized white chocolate, swirled with house-made raspberry compote, and brought together with a touch of almond extract.

March so far as a small biz owner opening a 4th bakery 🥰. Highlights include :

🍓spring menu

👷🏻‍♀️so much tiling and ugly wallpaper removal

👩‍🎓2 team members graduating from management training course

👩‍🔧changing the layout at our West Village shop

🧊a crazy ice machine debacle which has involved me visiting SIX hardware stores in the past few days

🌈 visiting a ton of West Village businesses in between hardware store runs to eat my feelings .sweet.treat

👩‍🎨Lots of design fun for 81st st

😻meeting so many loyal customers during icemachine gate 2026
