Here at 8 Bit Bakeshop we aim to unite generations of geeks and pop culture enthusiasts with high quality baked goods and an amazing experience. Located at the Entrepreneur Space in Long Island City, New York, 8 Bit Bakeshop was founded in May of 2014 by Hannah and Matthew McNamee. This wedded dynamic duo created the idea for 8 Bit Bakeshop after a very interesting discussion about the same geeky

inspirations that brought them together. Since then, 8 Bit Bakeshop has been the go to bakery for tons of gamers, comic lovers, cospayers and more all over the country. From our humble beginnings as a home bakery making local deliveries to our national debut on Good Morning America, we have stuck with the same goal to unite all kinds of people with the things they love. Thanks to the support of our fans and a successful campaign on Kiva Zip, we are now proudly shipping our small batch hand made goodies right to your door anywhere across the States. Little Luna is our newest line of fresh flavors and unique treats specially crafted for those with special dietary restrictions and food allergies. Boasting gluten free, nut free, and diabetic friendly recipes is just the beginning of the adventure! We aim to continue to develop great tasting and healthy treats for those with dairy and egg concerns as well. It fills us with joy to be able to branch away from most commercial bakeries and give back to the same communities that nurtured us when we began. Our ingredients are sourced from local businesses in New York and small businesses across the country. during the summer months we happily support Upstate family farms by using their harvest in our line ups. Preparations for a retail store are happening as we speak! You'll be able to finally walk into an experience unlike any other! So, what's next for 8 Bit? You tell us! Making moves like I got arms like Shiva! While the Grippy Girl Summer release party continues at , The Harlem Cookie has been working hard on its mission to bring kinder packaging to our world. Completely biodegradable plant based plastic! Getting the hood clean, fed, and dancing takes A LOT of work but it’s just so damn fun!
