The City of NY wants to be tough on small businesses and give tickets that inspectors can even substantiate.... do you think the people selling food in the subway have a permit/license or food handlers? Let’s think about this for a minute...... nope!

Today I had three DOT cases for a Brooklyn restaurant. No.1 the ticket was not even written correctly and I made the argument that a defective ticket is grounds for dismissal No.2 the DOT sent a different inspector to represent the inspector who wrote these three tickets - NO! NO! NO! I will NOT tolerate that...send the inspector who wrote them... point blank the City of NY will not conduct themselves how ever they feel like it with a Tropepe in the room. ALL THREE CASES DISMISSED!
