: Advocates from AIDS Healthcare Foundation and over 100 other organizations including / medical providers, social service organizations, municipalities and local representatives as well as community churches, have signed on to a letter to the United States' House Committee on Energy and Commerce urging Congress to swiftly pass a bill that would overhaul and re-prioritize the landmark lifesaving U.S. AIDS program. AIDS Healthcare Foundation, a vocal critic of runaway drug pricing and drug profiteering, continued its criticism of Gilead Sciences over the price of its new medication, Sovaldi, with an advocacy ad running in the The Wall Street Journal. The ad, a half-page, four-color ad, chides Gilead and asks patients and insurers who foot the bill for the drug, “If You Think $1,000 a Pill is OK, Stop Reading This.” Read more about the ad here >> http://bit.ly/1ix11p7
