Pinch me! I can’t believe I got to make this bust cake of the wildly funny and talented Bridget Everett! I have never been at one of her shows where I didn’t leave having slightly peed in my pants from laughing.

(man-eating-cake) Got to see my son in high school production of Little shop of horrors with my best high school friend So awesome 👏! I was touched seeing how really outstanding these kids were, and remembering the way we were, working on our own HS productions.

A wonderful thing about making cakes is that every once in a while you’re asked to recreate legant and timeless beauties like this.
This 24” hand-painted blue & white covered Asian inspired porcelain vase is a cake that I made in 2012. (I’m only sad that back then I don’t think confectioners glaze was around, so it is missing that hallmark shine)

Happy Lunar New Year! 🧧 it was so much fun making this year of the dragon cake for a school celebration at the Golden Unicorn restaurant in New York, back in 2016.
After the 100 servings of the cake body was served and eaten, the head of the Dragon, (chocolate and rice crispy treats) was kept on display in a glass showcase in the lobby of the school♥️♥️♥️
