๐ฟ โThe Blood That Runs Through Meโ โ A Legacy Message for Adeola Odogiyon
I am Adeola Odogiyon โจ alias SabiBoi
And my name carries the weight of a thousand untold stories ๐๐๏ธ
Before I ever took my first breath,
my blood was already traveling the world โ
from the red earth of ๐ณ๐ฌ Nigeria,
through the ancient kingdoms of ๐ง๐ฏ Benin and ๐น๐ฌ Togo,
across the strong lands of ๐จ๐ฎ Ivory Coast, ๐ฌ๐ญ Ghana, and ๐จ๐ฒ Cameroon.
I carry the heartbeat of West and Central Africa ๐ โ centuries of power, wisdom, and survival.
My ancestors were not just names on papers or numbers on ships โ๏ธ.
They were builders of kingdoms ๐, healers ๐ช, story keepers ๐, warriors ๐ก๏ธ.
They knew the language of the earth ๐ฑ and the rhythm of the drum ๐ฅ.
They were taken, but they were never broken ๐โก๏ธ๐ช๐พ.
Their blood flowed across oceans ๐ and planted new roots in the deep soil of the American South ๐ชด.
From the fields of North Carolina to the heart of Mississippi ๐พ,
from Alabama to Virginia ๐ณ โ they rose.
Enslaved, but never erased.
They built the foundation this country stands on ๐๏ธ.
And through every storm โ๏ธ, they whispered to the futureโฆ โWe will endure.โ ๐๏ธ
I am that future ๐.
The strength they prayed for ๐๐ฝ.
The answered prayer they couldnโt yet see.
In my veins, there is more than pain โ there is legacy.
There is the ๐ฅ fire of Africa,
the ๐ช๐ฝ resilience of the South,
and yes, the ๐ฟ traces of Europe too โ a reminder that my story is layered, complicated, and real.
But no matter how the story was written, I own it now ๐คโ๐ฝ
I walk with the spirit of kings and queens ๐ who crossed rivers barefoot,
of women who sang through the night just to keep their childrenโs names alive ๐ถ๐ฝ๐ถ.
Their blood is my armor ๐ก๏ธ.
Their faith is my foundation ๐๐ฝ.
Their journey is the reason I rise with power in my chest ๐.
I am not lost โ.
I am the continuation ๐.
I am the living proof that we are still here โ๐ฝ.
And from me, new stories will grow ๐ฑ๐.
