Why sweat it? Walked too far, ended up gross but the bathroom lines were heinous.
Lucky for me Japanese people are always taking baths.

日帰り温泉　higaeri onsen
朝風呂　日帰り asaburo higaeri (search this "open now")

Googled this with "open now" after my 6am walk & found a drop-in onsen for ¥900 next to Kyoto station with big vanity mirrors, baths and sauna for as long as you want.

(I know sento and manga cafes around there hogging the Google reviews. This is cheaper and better.) #朝風呂
