It's Sunday. Not gonna s**tpost too much today. Instead, I'm just going to do a shoutout to DragonResponse. Truth be told, I never really engaged with him much, so I don't really "know him." But it's easy for me to see that influenced a lot of people. It's kinda dumb, but I'm tearing up as I'm writing this.

Death is bittersweet. To some, it's the end. To others, it's the beginning. I personally know that death is just a checkpoint. I've dealt with a LOT of death in 2023. I've lost family and friends that I won't see again until I'm gone.

Everyone and everything that is living dies. But it's on us to accept that God wants us to have more after we leave this rock. It's on you to seek guidance and salvation. Jesus is real, he loves everyone regardless of their sins and he is reaching out to every one of us.

Here's to you, buddy. I'm just going to assume that God was just telling you that it's time to come home.

Update on the organization Friends Feeding Friends in Clarksburg, WV:

The City of Clarksburg REVERSED an earlier decision that would have prevented the First United Methodist Church (which hosts Friends Feeding Friends) from opening its doors as a warming shelter for the winter.

Previously the church had been informed that they would not be allowed to do so, leaving downtown Clarksburg without a warming shelter that so many unhoused residents rely on.

We want to take the time to thank the City of Clarksburg for doing the right thing and allowing the shelter to be opened up for those in need.

We appreciate all acts of human respect!
