Got our son's birthday cake after enjoying yummy cupcakes. Hands-down the best red velvet cake! I was so sad when there was no more left. Service is friendly and personal. So glad to have you in the community!
I am crazy about cupcakes, and I know all the cupcakes around the city. J&J Delicious Cakes compete up there with the best of NYC. The one complaint I have of cupcakes is that they can be too sweet. J&J's frosting is indulgent but light, and their citrus flavored frostings are nothing less than a perfection confection, and the cream cheese frosting is to die for. Now the cake, where to begin... the first word that comes to my head is "velvet". My first involuntary reaction were my eyes rolling to the back of my head. They do a red, a green, and a blue velvet, but they seem to put the same velvety texture in all of their cupcakes. They also makes cakes, which is where I will be getting all of my holiday, and birthdays cakes from. Y'all should be really jealous if you don't live in walking distance from here! I'll end by saying that I'm so proud of them. This is the type of Brooklyn ingenuity that makes Brooklyn so special. You simply cannot get these unless you come to Brooklyn.
