Happy (belated) barbie day! I am always late to the party. 🤷🏻‍♀️ i love these cakes! So fun! Funny story, my mother hated dolls, all dolls. So I didn’t have any growing up. Except my grandmother bought me one barbie. And I decided to cut her hair one day. I’m not sure how, but it was the coolest bob cut. So much so, that when I brought her to my cousin’s to play barbies with her(she had many dolls and tons of accessories), she begged me for her. She offered trades of clothes, dolls, etc. No way, i had the chicest barbie around. Haha, i had my one moment as a 7 yr old. 😅🤦🏻‍♀️

Oh January, are y’all still rallying your resolutions? Going strong? Don’t worry, I won’t judge you if not. The only resolution i ever made was to drink more champagne/bubbly instead of waiting on special occasions. What a fabulous year it was my darlings! Eat cake, drink bubbly, love deep, cry hard. Do it again next year.

I’ve always admired extremely feminine dresses: floral patterns, lots of tulle, chiffon, full skirts. I wish I were more that lady. I imagine afternoon ladies tea and giggling about the color of someone’s socks. Alas, I’m much more leather, jeans, tshirts and unintentional dry humor. But I can cake my way there. 👗💃🏻🎂🍰😘💜💕
