I properly hate having to do this but due to my ongoing heath problems the bakery is now on hiatus for a while. I have reached the difficult conclusion that, rather than continue on half steam with so many changes in offerings and direction, the right thing is to stop, get well and come back stronger and better.
Sadly, this does mean that all standing orders will now be cancelled for a good while. I'll try to reach as many of you as I can personally, my apologies to those who I can't.
Thank you all so, so much for your support so far, it honestly means the world and I'm sorry it has come to this. However, I believe with rest and a clearer mind, it will come back stronger, more refined and better than ever. Different for sure, but better. As I've said before in difficult times: I will rise again.

As some of you might already know, I'm not very well at the moment and so I'm having to take a bit of time off. All being well I'll be back on the 18th for pre ordered loaves as usual. Unfortunately, this does mean that any events I had planned for February are now cancelled/postponed until early March. I'll post up some updates later when I know for sure what's happening. I'm sorry to let people down, hopefully it won't be too long before I'm back on all cylinders again. X x x

2 weeks today: the 4th & 5th of February mark the first of the Friday/Saturday evening events .
From 5pm until late, there will be a full menu including some old favourites and some new additions. Wine/beer/cocktails are still tbc, but I've definitely got some fun things lined up...
I'll be taking a few bookings each night but hopefully keeping early and late tables open for walk ins.

Part 2 of my big news! Introducing the new identity that the business will be moving forward with from now on: 97 Orchard. Inspired in part by my time in New York and in part by one of my favourite and most inspirational books, it's what my residency will be called and what my bricks & mortar site will be named when we can bring it to life. To me the book sums up the generosity and simplicity of the early days of deli dining, the pulling together of different origins and influences with the sole aim of providing something comforting for the community.
I'm beyond excited to take this next step towards making 97 Orchard a reality and I hope you will all join me for the ride. Love you always Sheffield x x x

So a change has been on the cards for a while now, it won't come as a big surprise to many of you, given how much I've been talking about it but...
As of now I will be changing the course of the business and beginning to focus even more on the plated food and wine side, focusing my efforts on Friday & Saturdays. will be taking back the lunchtime reins from Sunday-Thursday and I will be serving up small plates on the other 2 days. Following that, from the first Friday/Saturday in February (the 4th & 5th) I will be opening until late with a fuller menu and a tbc selecton of wines, cocktails and beers. Following that, I will be open late every Friday & Saturday for food and BYO drinks, with wine events on the first F&S of every month.
There's more to come, including a change of name & identity, but I reckon this is enough for now so I'll post more in the coming days. I'm so excited for this next chapter and I hope to see you all soon. Love you Sheffield x x x
