Standby for the results a little later… rhubarb compote in the making for Rhubarb Swirl loaves as suggested by a good customer.

My kids are excited because I was debating between small test loaves or big loaves. They both answered in unison… make a big loaf! 🤪

But I did also mix up a couple small loaves as well if you would like to get your hands on one.

It’s been a while but I’ve been busy heating up the kitchen and baking up lots of goodies!

And suddenly it looks like it might be time to try a new flavor of items. I got about 28ish cups of rhubarb yesterday from the first pick of the season.

So I am open to ideas of things to experiment trying… what should I try first!?

Hopefully you read to the end of the list and see if I can actually remember everything I baked today… again pictures during the process are so hard so you’ll have to TRUST me 😉

Actually baked: 143 Cookies, 2 loaves of plain, 2 loaves of Parmesan garlic, 2 loaves of jalapeño cheddar, & 2 dozen buns.

Let’s just say the house is a wee bit warm this evening even with windows open 🥵

Dough prepped: 6 loaves of plain, 2 loaves of cinnamon raisin, 2 loaves of jalapeño cheddar, & cinnamon rolls.

Tomorrow will once again be a big baking day of loaves & more cookies getting as much accomplished before I have to run the Mom Taxi. 🚕

Don’t forget to come see me Saturday morning and if there is something special you’re after come early. With my schedule everything will be limited quantities. I’ll share my exact opening time tomorrow evening.

Well I guess I went a little MIA there after Easter but honestly that is sometimes the hardest part of a small business. Keeping up with the posting & sharing side gets to be overwhelming so I just skip it. But I have continued to be busy baking, along with chasing keeps, & keeping the house running.

Just want to take a moment to wish everyone a Happy Easter! 🐣

It was a BUSY week here but not many pictures happened as I was just working to stay on schedule and get orders out the door on time. Sourdough goodies made this week included bread, cookies, bagels, english muffins, and dinner rolls.

Fresh from the oven to cooling on the rack the house is filled with the wonderful aroma of bread. 🤤

And honestly it doesn’t get any fresher than this. When scheduling allows everything is baked fresh the day of. 🤩

These lucky loaves will be making a road trip to archery for delivery tonight. But don’t worry there is still time to grab your sourdough goodies!
