Rise In The Yeast

We are sad to announce that Rise in the Yeast will be taking a break from selling sourdough bread for the foreseeable future. We want to give a huge thank you to everyone that supported our small business - the response was unbelievable and makes us love our community even more. We are two recreational bakers that fell in love with sourdough but due to increasing work responsibilities, health concerns and increasing family demands (welcoming a new little bun in November!) we are unable to keep up with demand and provide the quality that is so important to us.

Thank you again! It’s been a fun journey!

Mini loaves are tipping their hats to mothers for this Mother’s Day weekend!

Also the perfect stencil to cut to create a yummy sourdough bread bowl for soup this strangely cool weekend!

We went with Honey Seeded and Chocolate in the Sourdough Sampler packs! But we also made some mini lemon poppyseed and s’mores flavors. In addition just restocked more larger original and cinnamon sugar!

English muffins are one of my all-time favorite sourdough products to make. They are super easy and fluffy yet chewy… I’ll be dropping 3 packs at Fresh tomorrow morning. Have with some butter and jam or make a breakfast sandwich!

Thank you again to everyone that came out this weekend to support us! We sold 30 loaves and 4 packs of English muffins!!

Sourdough is wild and sometimes unpredictable! As you enjoy our bread, please post pictures of the crumb so we can “read” our bakes to figure out how to keep improving. And if you ever come across a less than ideal bake, please reach out to us via messenger or reach out to Fresh with a picture. We’re more than happy to bake another loaf!
