Happy August, y’all!! We’re excited to be opening our order books up again! 👩🏽‍🍳🎂✨ Starting on Friday, August 13th, we’ll be accepting cake orders via the form on our website (link in bio); and starting in September, we’ll be accepting custom orders for cookies and other sweet treats!

We thank you kindly for your patience- the break was much needed and appreciated, and we’re so so happy to get back to caking and baking!

Hello friends & cake lovers- here with an announcement:

Brown Sugar Boulangerie will not be accepting any new orders for June. I’ve been navigating a difficult personal situation for the past few weeks; and in order to avoid further aggravating my anxiety/overwhelming myself, I’ll be taking the month for some much needed TLC to clear my head, do some restructuring, and figure out what I need in order to move forward in the best way possible. If you’ve sent me an email or order inquiry in the last week or two, my apologies for the delay and know that I am doing my best to get to all of you while working through what’s going on in my private life.

Brown Sugar Boulangerie WILL be back soon, and I’ll even continue to share some cake pics and check in occasionally! We’ll still be participating in the occasional popup during this time, and I’ll make an announcement here when we’re ready to accept orders again. Thanks so much for the love and support you show to me and my lil business- I eagerly await the day when I can make cakes and goodies for each and every one of you! ✨👩🏽‍🍳❤️

Yesterday I got to realize one of (cake) dreams and make a version of Aurora’s famous cake from Disney’s Sleeping Beauty! Hey y’all, here. Life has been a been hectic lately and I’m needing to take some time for some extra TLC for myself. If you’ve sent an email or order inquiry within the last week or so, I apologize for the delay in my replies and know that I’m doing my best to get to everyone. So incredibly touched to have made a birthday cake for the amazing Vivi of ... 🎂✨ We met for the first time recently and commiserated jokingly over being bakers who were tired of making our *own* birthday cakes, so this order felt that much more special. I so appreciate being at the intersection of BIPoC makers and creative women who make and hold space for themselves as well as each other, and is the very picture of that (I mean, it says so in their name!! 💜), and I am honored to be a part of the same community as this sower of joy, this sharer of talent, this lovely lovely human being.
