She's back! 🥖

A huge thank you to our equipment vendor for coming out, giving our bread oven a thorough overhaul, and breathing some new life into a hardworking piece of bakery history.

We're also incredibly grateful to our fellow local businesses who reached out with offers of oven space, assistance, and support. It was a wonderful reminder of what makes this community so special.

Our fresh breads have returned, and we're happy to have our old girl back where she belongs. 💙

The Blue Loon is open Wednesday–Sunday • 7am–2pm (kitchen closes daily at 1:45 pm).

Closed Monday and Tuesday.

Much like the weather, our bread oven remains uncooperative. ☔❄☀

We were able to make progress on the repair, but not quite in time for today's bread bake.

The good news? We're making extra bagels to help fill the gap. Lots of them. 🥯

We appreciate everyone's patience and support while we get things sorted out. In the meantime, consider this your sign to have a bagel today. 💙

Well, this isn't how we planned to start the day.

Our bread oven decided it needed a day off, which means we won't have fresh bread available today.

The good news? The pastry case is full, the coffee is brewing, and the rest of the menu is ready to go. We're working to get things back on track as quickly as possible.

Last call for the May menu!

A few more days to grab this month’s favorites before the summer season officially rolls in. The lemon ginger scones, Hot Hawaiian, apple cinnamon crumb muffins, cranberry tarragon chicken salad, and all the cozy spring flavors are making their final appearances this week.

June brings a whole new lineup, fresh summer flavors, longer days, iced drinks, and everything we love about this season in New London ☀️

A BIG THANK YOU to the kind neighbors who noticed our hose sprang a leak yesterday and took the time to shut it off and call us!!
