The King will be out of the shop and having a lot of fun this week at Midwest Old Threshers in Mt. Pleasant, as he drives and displays the featured truck of the year - this 1923 fire engine owned by Hempen Farms LLC.

When you're traveling to or from the Old Threshers Reunion or Mt. Pleasant's Crafts in the Park, or heading to hang out with your friends in the campground, we hope you'll make a quick turn at Exit #244 off US Highway 34 for some icy cold cheesecakes treats!

Open Wednesday and Thursday 10 to 6, Friday 10 to 5 and Saturday 9 to 1. Come see us!

Just in time for a delicious Labor Day Weekend - we've brought back some more "fan favorites"!

In the case September 2 - 6, we have:

Churro Cheesecake - a churro and pretzel crust, cinnamon cheesecake topped with homemade caramel sauce, cinnamon buttercream and crushed cinnamon sugar churros

Coffee Cake Cheesecake - a graham crust, vanilla cheesecake with layers of brown sugar and cinnamon. Topped with cinnamon crumble, vanilla buttercream and an icing drizzle

It's not too early to start thinking about our favorite football game. IOWA vs IOWA STATE on Saturday, September 12.

Our game day cheesecakes are perfect for those office rivalries, tailgate parties or just chilling out at home to watch the game.

"IOWA" cheesecakes are vanilla, chocolate, vanilla/chocolate swirl or lemon with Iowa decorationsl

"IOWA STATE " cheesecakes are vanilla, red velvet or lemon with Iowa State decorations.

Doing things differently this year. I’ll be doing a Pop up sale at Shut Your Piehole Cheesecakes September 5, Saturday. Starting at their opening 9:00am until I run out. At this time I have 40+ quarts and a few pints of different heat levels. I’ll be making a couple more batches this week.
Price - $4 pint, $8 quart (able to keep my cost down because people return my jars, thank you!!)
Purchase limit will be set.
