I am a 5th generation food service business owner located in New Lisbon, WI.

After a rough night with our little ones unexpectedly coming down sick, our English muffins overproofed and couldn’t be salvaged. As a result, we weren’t able to complete the rest of our usual offerings today.

Because we are up through the night caring for our little ones, we made the intentional choice to pause food prep in order to uphold our kitchen protocols and avoid any risk of spreading illness.

While our soft reopening is unfolding more gradually than expected, we’re still grateful and excited to share what we were able to prepare yesterday and bring together today. Our limited offerings this week include a small cookie assortment and 16 scone flights (8 boxes of each flavor).

8 sourdough scone flavors this week - 5 of them are brand new! This week is for chocolate lovers all around! 2 flavors of flight options will be available!

Loaded with 3 Chocolates, both dipped and topped with 2 Ghirardelli Chocolates and Belgian Waffle Cone Crumble Topping and a milk chocolate filled waffle cone candy

-“Scotcharoo”
Loaded with milk chocolate and butterscotch chips with a marshmallow fluff topping and Ghirardelli Milk Chocolate drizzle finished with rice crisps

-“Chocolate Pistachio Bliss”
Chocolate chunk scone topped with Italian Pistachio Cream, Ghirardelli Milk Chocolate Drizzle, and salted pistachio crumble

-“Cranberry Dark Chocolate”
Loaded with cranberries and dark chocolate chips with a Ghirardelli Dark Chocolate Drizzle and powdered sugar topping

-“White Chocolate Mac Nut”
Loaded with white chocolate morsels and macadamia nuts topped with Ghirardelli White Chocolate and and crushed macademia topping

Loaded with peaches and cream cheese chips with a Ghirardelli White Chocolate topping

Loaded with blueberries and topped with a homemade crusted lemon glaze and sanding sugar

Soft reopening on Saturday! Oh how we have missed sourdough in this house! We are so excited to get things rocking and rolling again for all of you and to get back in the swing of things around here!

We may or may not have artisan or sandwich bread but will have English muffins at the bare minimum with tons of goodies! Thank you all for your patience and support - always!

I commented back to a customer on our previous post but thought I’d also share it here:

We are closed until July! There are a lot of exterior renovations happening that make popping up dangerous or nearly impossible due to fitting the bakery into the schedule as well as liability concerns on the property itself.

We are in process of full interior and exterior renovations and can only pop up if the renovations allow it at this time! We are jacking the rest of sidewalks today and will be pouring concrete on the entire property next Thursday. It is the first of the many exterior projects ahead alongside interior renovations as well.

Unfortunately, the weather is also working against us today and will be hitting upwards of 95 degrees - the baked goods could spoil in this heat without refrigeration and fillings and toppings would run. This also is a concern as we do not want customers to get sick.

We will post on weekends we will be popping up through the renovation schedule wherever and whenever we can make it happen!!

We are committed to doing our best to rush the progress of renovations to get the bakery back and running regularly! Thanks for supporting our small business to keep my passion alive despite the chaos!!

We will not be opening this weekend! The garage sale has taken all of our time and split efforts and we didn’t have time to prep our normal goodies. Stay tuned for our next pop up. Can’t wait to see everyone! ♥️

Thank you all for your support this weekend and to Meredith at Log Cabin Deli and Market for allowing us to pop up and see all of your faces!

We are closed this weekend for city wide garage sale prep, kitchen cleaning, and some more minor renovations. See you all the following weekend!
