Call me eccentric, but these are the details that preoccupy me until I bring them to fruition. I had a clear vision for a wedding cake Swiss roll, featuring almond wedding cake wrapped around soft, pillowy whipped cream. Perfect in its simplicity or enhanced with lemon curd or a fruit preserve. Decorated with buttercream, flowers, or perhaps cut edible flowers. I can envision the cake rolls arranged in a row down the center of a beautifully decorated reception table, creating an elegant and distinctive display. Stay tuned, as my mind has been abuzz with wedding ideas of late.

BTW…if you’re not a fan of fondant but love the smooth finish look, you should try my ganache covered cake. 😋
