Hey there! After a slightly extended “study break,” I’m thrilled to announce that Mad Batter Patisserie is officially back in business. 🥳 Huge thanks to all my amazing customers (yep, that’s YOU) for giving me the courage to take a risk, and chase some big, flaky dreams. 🥐💭✨
So, where did I disappear to? Culinary school! Yup, I dove into the world of rolling pins and risotto alongside a gaggle of wild, energetic kiddos. Turns out, being back in a classroom was equal parts terrifying and magical because I never loved school. But with the guidance of my incredible chefs, I found myself learning, growing, and dreaming even bigger. This semester, I will be soaking up all the wisdom I can while lab assisting for one of my favorite chefs.
Here’s the big picture: My ultimate goal is to teach culinary arts one day—to pass along not just recipes, but the love, patience, and weird life hacks that got me through this journey.
For now? I’m right here in New Lenox, fired up to bring you all the buttery goodness you’ve been missing. The Mad Batter kitchen is OPEN for orders, and I’m whipping up some exciting new menu items that will be rolling out in just a few weeks! Oh, and remember I mentioned a food trailer might be on the horizon? Yep, mobile Mad Batter magic is still in the works. 🎂🚚
