Tis the season! Let's get caught up:

---Halloween menu is LIVE on the website and current future ordering is now open through November 14.

--Bakery is open this weekend and the shelves look great! We're getting our heads above water as we finish up our huge pumpkin show project partnering with Rhoads Garden Center Inc to provide whoopie pies, pumpkin rolls and more. Check them out next week at the show! Please note, whoopie pies are only available at the Pumpkin Show. We will not have any at the bakery.

---Thanksgiving ordering opens Tuesday, Nov 3. We will be open Tuesday 11/24 and Wednesday 11/25 from 7am-4pm.

--We will be closed Thursday, 11/26(Thanksgiving) through 11/28.

--Christmas/December ordering opens Tuesday, Nov 17. (At that time, or before if we fill up on orders, Thanksgiving ordering will close)

---We will be open Christmas week Wednesday 12/23 from 7am-4pm and Thursday 12/24 from 7am-1pm.

---The bakery will then be closed Christmas Day through January 3.

It's hard to believe it's time to talk about all of this already, but here we are! Make sure you sign up for our emails because you will know first when the menus are posted and get all of the must know info directly to your inbox.

Happy October! Just a few things to keep you in the know:

--- Rhoads Garden Center Inc restock happening right now--large frosted pumpkin cake cookies, scarlet and gray sugar cookies, cheesecake and more!
---Halloween menu coming at you Monday, October 5-stay tuned
---Holiday ordering calendar will be up next week as well so you know when to place those orders
---Online ordering currently open through October 31

This time of year our schedule fills up a little quicker some weeks, so if you find the website booked out, we are still working to have extra product for sale in the store during retail hours. If future dates are blacked out, they just aren't open for ordering yet as we open them in increments to be able to properly adjust the menus, so hang tight and place those orders once they open.

Fun Fact--We have now taken over 14,000 orders through the website! It's an incredible tool that allows you to order 24/7 and see exactly what we offer while giving us a solid system to track when your orders are for. Thanks a million for utilizing it and trusting it. We appreciate you! And if you just like to swing into the store and see what we've got, we appreciate you too!

Hey guys, just dropping by really quick to remind/give a heads up that we are CLOSED TOMORROW, SEPTEMBER 19 for regularly scheduled life stuff. :) We'll be back at it with regular hours next weekend. Also please keep in mind, we're heading into our busiest season so ordering may be cut off sooner than typical so place those orders when you can with plenty of notice. As always we'll work to have extras for sale in our cases during retail hours to accommodate last minute things. Online ordering is open right now through October 17. Hi Friends!

We're about to head into our busiest season yet and we have some open positions to fill.

-Retail Sales-

Must be able to work Thursday/Friday/Saturdays, the Tuesday and Wednesday of Thanksgiving week and December 22-24 Christmas Eve.

24ish hours with more hours available if interested in a duel position of production/baker's assistant other days of the week.

Work up front during our retail hours educating our customers on product and processes, fulfill customer orders, use the register, maintain the stocking of product for sale, help package product, fold boxes, label bags and other small tasks to help keep the bakery running smoothly. Ideally this person loves people, loves our product, can handle a fast paced environment and is a positive team player. Some heavy lifting up to 50 lbs is required and being on your feet for 7-9 hours a day.

Baker's Assistant

Must be able to work 4am-noon and Saturdays.

Part time/ Full time

This position will work mainly in the back of the house helping with many tasks including but not limited to traying cookies, prepping ingredients, mixing doughs, scooping/cutting cookies, dishes(lots of dishes), packaging product, stocking ingredients and and generally working to be a solid team player to keep the production of the bakery moving forward. Some helping up front in the retail area may be required as well. Heavy lifting of up to 50 lbs required.

We're looking for a great addition of fun, positive attitudes who get to work hard and see the result of their efforts at the end of the day. We are a small but mighty team and you must be able to cross train and help out in all areas with the main goal to support the bakery as a whole and not in a singular task.
