June Dairy Month is almost here, and we’re celebrating the farmers who make so much of what we do possible.

The baking industry simply wouldn’t exist without farmers. From dairy and eggs to wheat, fruit, nuts, and so many other ingredients, farmers provide the pieces that allow bakeries to create the “quilt” of goods that bring all farming industries together.

A heartfelt thank you to all farmers for the incredible work, dedication, and care that goes into feeding our communities — in the bakery and far beyond.

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

Bright citrus, soft pastry, and fresh coffee — a pretty good way to start the morning.

Our Orange Morning Buns are baked fresh with buttery layers and sweet orange flavor swirled all the way through. Lightly golden on the outside and soft in the center, they disappear from the bakery case fast for a reason.

Today’s a sweet little celebration of one of our favorite ingredients… walnuts.

And around here, there’s no better way to celebrate National Walnut Day than with our beloved Nut Horns.

Made with flaky cream cheese pastry dough, filled with a rich blend of brown sugar, vanilla, and crunchy walnuts, then finished with a snowy drizzle of icing, these old-world treats bring together just the right mix of buttery, sweet, nutty goodness in every bite.

Some of the best childhood memories are simple ones.

A bike rolling down a sunny street. A paper goodie bag swinging from the handlebars. The sound of laughter drifting through the park while parents visit nearby.

That’s the spirit behind the New Glarus Bike Rodeo.

On Saturday, May 16th from 11 AM to 1 PM, kids in grades K–4 are invited to join the New Glarus Police Department and New Glarus Chamber of Commerce for an afternoon full of fun, community, and bicycle safety over on 4th Avenue by Village Park.

There’ll be a bike safety obstacle course, a petting zoo, free lunch for families, and even bikes donated by local businesses that children can enter to win.

And for the first 50 kids? A free bike helmet and goodie bag to take home.

That kind of day reminds you why small towns are special — neighbors gathering together, kids riding bikes, and a community that still makes time for one another.
