Peanut Butter Sheet Cake with Peanut Butter Frosting

Ingredients

For the Cake

1 cup butter

1 cup water

2 cups flour

2 cups sugar

1/2 cup creamy peanut butter

2 eggs

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 cup milk

1 teaspoon vanilla

For the Frosting

1/2 cup butter

1/2 cup creamy peanut butter

6 tablespoons milk

1 teaspoon vanilla

3 cups powdered sugar

Instructions

Make the Cake

1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

2. In a saucepan, bring butter and water to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter until smooth.

3. Whisk together flour and sugar in a bowl. Pour warm peanut butter mixture over dry ingredients and mix.

4. Add eggs, milk, baking soda, and vanilla. Mix until smooth.

5. Pour into a greased sheet pan and bake 20–22 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Make the Frosting

1. In a saucepan, melt butter and peanut butter. Add milk and bring just to a boil.

2. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and powdered sugar.

3. Spread warm frosting over warm cake.

4. Cool completely before slicing.
