This is my story!
This picture is where my story starts.
Hi, my name is Sawyer Williams. I am the youngest of four boys and an identical twin. I’m an uncle and an amazing one at that! I am a family man, I love spending time with my parents and siblings as much I can.
I started Will-Yums when I was a Sophomore at New Bremen High School at the age of 15. I was a student looking for a job and needed to make a little cash. At first I started the business to help raise money for my oldest brothers missions trip. After a very successful garage sale weekend, and a phone call or two the business was off to a start. Funny story about my very first phone call from a customers. It was Saturday April 14th, 2012, I had just got home from selling all day, I got a phone call from this very nice young girl, who was probably 11 or 12 at the time, she wanted to order cupcakes for her birthday! Great right? Well at the age of 15 I thought it was prank call so i hung up on her. After realizing what I had done, called her back and we got the order placed! I still know that customer, she is a very good friend of mine, and we make sure to point out that she is the start of this whole journey! Thanks Caity! That was the day that became the best unknown ever.
Since 2012, we have worked long days, late nights, and early mornings. I’ve been on top and I’ve been at the bottom. I’ve made great memories, and missed a few special ones. I’ve been through a couple name changes, numerous logo changes and many challenges, but with support, love and God, I’m still to this day working hard and growing beyond my biggest dream. In 2017 I graduated from Wight State University and also moved the business out of my parents home and into New Bremen Coffee Co. where we continue to run the business together. The move was pretty difficult at first, but over time I know it was the best thing for me and without it I would have probably closed the doors by now.
