🧸The Conclusion of the Teddy Bear Saga… I gave up on the moldable royal icing. The ones that looked good turned rock hard. Most people don’t like the taste of fondant so I went with good ol chocolate! It worked perfectly and tasted delicious! (These wafers are good enough to eat by the handful.) What do you think about the teddy bears?

Update: using cornstarch made a big difference in getting the bears out of the mold. I also used less powdered sugar in the “dough.” I think they’re better, but maybe not quite good enough. These molds are made for fondant and chocolate. I was trying to stick with royal icing, but if I can’t get the features any clearer, I may have to pivot to fondant or candy melts.🤷🏻‍♀️
