Marvel Studios surprised fans today by now confirming that the upcoming “Avengers Doomsday” will change its set location from Northern Kentucky to Southern Indiana. This Change was made due to scheduling conflicts with the super team “The Wrens”. Both groups will be working together in the franchise’s largest battle yet, in attempt to defeat Dr. Doom.
Details suggest that a majority of scenes will take place in New Albany, Downtown Louisville, and Jeffersonville. The Production team confirmed The Colgate Clock, The Witches’ Tree, and The Yum Center will all be Key Battle Locations for this film, with the final battle beginning and ending at 154 East Main Street (The HQ location for the Wrens).
“We were thrilled to find out production could move closer to us,” per Madam Mochi. “Marvel had been in contact with us about traveling to Covington, however we needed to make sure our customers were still able to get authentic and fresh mochi every day. You know, Customers drive from hours away just to get our mochi! - there’s only like 3 mochi shops on the east coast, and a couple in California…. That’s it!”
She was very enthusiastic about the film, we have yet to interview other members of her team.
Marvel has not announced a filming schedule or other plot details at this time, but we are expecting a few locals and regulars at mochi wren to make an appearance.
