As luck and life would have it, we are headed north.
I have so enjoyed the happy magic that your energy has brought to the Craig Road farm stand. Thank you for the many years of support as we were able to help local animal shelters and refuge. I think the Craig Rd. farm stand brings community together with simplicity. Farm fresh products & treats, neighbors, & good old-fashioned cash box honor.
My hope is that Readington Township solidifies comprehensive support & guidance to encourage small roadside stands. Hunterdon County can continue to lead the way in support of small local farms by resolving some things. This brings up the question still remaining in debate -
Is cheesecake a value added farm product??
The state of New Jersey believes I need a herd of cows and a cheese making facility on my small farm. Only China made T-shirts and mugs with a Farm logo qualify as a complementary product. My answer to that question of course - HELL YES !!
Our farm fresh eggs, our berries from 4000 plants, and local cream. Pretty close to Farm fresh if you ask me. Anyway, I will miss our little farm, & I am quite sad at the moment, but I kept all those upbeat posted notes which inspired me so much!
By the way, if LisaMaries Cheesecake moves forward, I’m betting there’ll be free shipping to Jersey. . .
