We made the news! 🎉 Thank you FOX 5 San Diego for joining us at the grand opening of our new café side and helping us share this special milestone with the community.

From the Filipino breads and pastries our family has made for generations to our new lineup of Filipino-inspired coffee, matcha, milk tea, and refreshers, we’re proud to continue growing while staying true to our roots. 🇵🇭❤️

We are pleased to recognize Mark Philip Valerio Santos as one of the 100 Global Entrepreneurs for his contributions to business leadership, community engagement, and the continued global presence of Filipino entrepreneurship in the United States. As a Filipino American entrepreneur based in San Diego, he represents the next generation of leadership built on heritage, innovation, and community impact.

Mark Philip Valerio Santos Mark is the third-generation owner and operator of Valerio’s Bakeshop, the family-owned bakery established by his grandparents, Victor and Milagros Valerio. Under his leadership, the company has continued to grow while preserving the traditions and Filipino identity that shaped the brand through generations.

Valerio’s Bakeshop received national recognition after winning at the 2025 World Bread Awards USA during IBIE Las Vegas, one of the world’s largest baking expos. Beyond the family business, Mark also serves as a Board Director for the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce, National City Chamber of Commerce.

Mark Philip Valerio Santos is recognized for strengthening Filipino representation through business and civic leadership. His work reflects a commitment to cultural preservation, entrepreneurship, and building stronger connections between business and community on a global stage.
