Life is what you bake it!👩🏼‍🍳 I was fortunate enough to have two grandmothers who welcomed me into their kitchens and were patient enough to teach me the ropes. From that point on, I became obsessed with Food Network and was

always experimenting in the kitchen. I joined the food industry at 16 where my first job was at a Cracker Barrel in Oklahoma. I underwent heavy training and learned a lot from the franchise. I even took Food Handlers courses and received my food handlers permit in 2016. In 2021, I made a big decision to move from Oklahoma to Louisiana. I have worked at some of your favorite local restaurants and have made so many new friendships. As much as I love working with food, I needed a break from the stress of the restaurant and bar crowd. I re-kindled my love for baking and started working on learning how to make sourdough breads, and have since learned I can make SO MUCH with sourdough! This started as a fun new hobby and has flourished into a small home bakery business, and I am more than thankful for the support!

We’ve got some nasty storms coming our way this week and into the weekend so unfortunately Buttercup Bakery & Ash’s Bread will not be at the farmers market on Saturday. ⛈️

I will be having a sourdough sale from my front porch, right here on the Natchez Bluff! My bread stand will be out on the porch safe from the weather and full of sourdough goodies available for you to purchase before Mother’s Day! 🤗
