I FINALLY got to scoot around the kitchen a little! Made some yummy vanilla cupcakes with a NEW bittersweet chocolate frosting! They were fabulous! It did prove that I am still not ready to start taking orders, but I'm getting so close! :-) So great to be back in the kitchen! :-)

Just an update. I have undergone back surgery and am currently healing. It's looking like another 6 weeks or so of basic resting so we're probably looking at another couple of months before I can jump back into baking. I am very much looking forward to it! And I'm thinking of great recipes I can try as soon as I can get back to my oven :-) Thank you all for your kind words and thoughts!

As many of you know I have been having some back issues and it turns out they are a little more serious that we had originally thought. I am preparing to undergo different treatments to fix the problem and hopefully they will work quickly! Until then, I must hang up my apron and step away from my KitchenAid mixer. :-) Don't worry, I will be back soon and better than ever!!
