Harvest cake is something that I have been making every autumn for years. My family loves it. It’s a Bundt cake with cinnamon, walnuts, apple, mini chocolate chips, topped with cream cheese glaze. It makes a perfect dessert for thanksgiving and translates great to a gluten free cake. This cake could also be made dairy free if needed - minus chocolate chips. I’ve been baking for as long as I can remember. I was always in the kitchen with my grandmother. It’s a passion of mine. Then my daughter was diagnosed with Celiac disease and we had to go gluten free for all family meals and treats. While I can’t guarantee that the kitchen is 100% gluten free, I can say that I have gluten free dedicated equipment and have been successfully cooking and baking for my daughter, without cross contamination, for years now. During this journey I found that a lot of things I took for granted were really hard to find gluten free, like onion soup mix and jiffy mix. I had to learn to adapt and honestly most things taste better now. I hope to offer many things over time to help others with these common issues. Keep checking back as I will be adding things often.
