This is a handwritten personal thank you note that is typed (smile). I thank all of you that wished me a happy birthday and those that came out to celebrate with me. I am eternally grateful for your kindness. I am so grateful that Yahweh gives me another day to be kind, loving and gentle. It was a cold day in February, 2026 that I was sitting at table 401 at Shugga Hi and Glen asked me what I was doing for my birthday, and I said nothing. Truthfully, I have not been celebrating since Sandra transitioned to do bigger and better things. He said, I am going to throw you party. Glen and Dennis, thank you for not only throwing the party, but paying for it. It was top notch. Glen, you know you can emcee! You see I met them both at Shugga Hi and we have been friends every since. I have met a lot of friends at Shugga Hi. It is home. I am wealthy not because of money, but because of friends and family. I have friends that will call me and check on me and ask if I need anything. And without pretense, will provide. You know who you are. Thank you and I love you. Some of you didn't make it out. Don't worry, this is the beginning. We will celebrate later. When I call you, come on. Thanks to Tenette Smith. You can sho nuf sing. I am honored that you came. Cojo thanks so much. You always come through. Thanks to the band, the Shuggites for providing great food and service! Thanks to the bartender and the decorators. Thanks to my friends that traveled from afar to celebrate with me. Thanks Mary, Beryl and Ursula. Love you Robbie, Larry, Landrace and Lanaris! I have not mentioned everyone, but I thank you! Now it's time rock n roll! You know I am 70? Not yet, just claiming it!
