Back story: My daughter met just shortly before they found out they were going to have their first babies. It was really nice they had each other to share the journey with… first “mom friends”. Due dates a day apart, but even almost two weeks early, Baker 💙 and Scottie 🩷 were born on the same day, delivered by the same doc! Instant little bestie/birthday twins!
When Alex told Karli she and her husband and Scottie were moving to Cali, I know Karli started dreading it… Then she shared a cute pizza party invitation and I just had to… 🍕 😉
Thanks for being such a good friend to my daughter, Alex! Wishing you safe travels and all of the best things California living has to offer you and your sweet little family!

Cookies from Be Still Bakery‘s “Letters to Santa” class. When I saw Megan drop this class (last year or the year before, I think?) I knew I HAD to make them.
But, I had the CASA of Cecil County Festival of Trees in mind… keep swiping —>

So often I hear, “these are too pretty to eat!” Thank you. ☺️ But, EAT THEM! They’re delicious! And, I’ll (usually) make you more! However, these are not edible (covered with shellac) and there’s slim to zero chance I’ll be making them again. Sooooo, the only way you can get them is to bid on/win the tree!

CASA’s Festival of Trees opens Saturday at Woody’s Crab House. Check CASA of Cecil County’s website for more info AND to bid online!

Our first grandchild, a girl, is due early July. Her younger (by a few weeks) cousin Baker will follow soon after. Have I mentioned how excited my Lovey and I are?! We came to Nashville to celebrate Baker and his momma and daddy. His Nonnie and Gramps and their families hosted a “Books, Bears and Brunch for Baker” shower this morning and it was adorable! June has been an especially busy month for us, but you know I HAD to do cookies. So, and I had another date this past week. I’m loving him more and more!
