I loved getting to make this cake for Jenna and Sam’s wedding in the fall! Sam works with my boyfriend and he overheard Sam talking about how he and Jenna were thinking about just getting a Publix cake for their wedding. But Cade intervened and told him about my baking and I’m so glad he did. My baking has taken a bit of a back seat to life lately, but I really enjoyed this opportunity to make it a priority again. It was a lot of work, but it was so fun and I loved getting to have my work be part of their special day! 🤍

When Jenna and I started talking about the cake, she wasn’t really sure what they wanted. She answered a few questions I had then left me to run with my ideas. We ended up with a 3-tiered ombré cake of sorts. The bottom cake was chocolate, the middle was marbled chocolate and white, with the top being white, and frosted with buttercream.
