From the fields to the rafters, the journey continues.

Once harvested, to***co is brought into the curing barns, where men and women carefully hang the leaves high along the pilons and rafters. Here, the to***co will spend weeks curing, slowly transitioning from green to yellow to brown as the leaves lose moisture and begin their transformation.

The A.L.R. Second Edition is a cigar built around patience. After Rocky created the blend in 2016, a limited production of 120,000 ci**rs was placed in an aging room and left undisturbed for two years — allowing time to become an essential part of the process.

Its creation spanned more than a year and over 100 blend variations, with each iteration refining the balance between flavor, strength, and sweetness. At its core was the pursuit of a profile inspired by classic Cuban ci**rs, capturing that lingering sweetness once found in older Cuban to***co, while preserving depth and complexity.

To achieve this, the team reached deep into their reserves, pulling from to***co grown as far back as 2014, allowing time and age to bring out nuance and refinement. Even then, the challenge remained. Nicaraguan and Honduran to***cos are known for their strength and depth, making it exceptionally difficult to achieve that same signature sweetness.

Sapphire represents a breakthrough. It is a medium blend where aged to***co, careful fermentation, and continuous refinement come together in seamless harmony, delivering balance, complexity, and a defining natural sweetness.
